Boston Organics is an independently owned organic produce and grocery delivery service. They partner directly with farms, dairies, bakeries and healthy food suppliers to deliver boxes of fresh, certified organic produce to homes and offices year-round on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
In every aspect of sustainability, Boston Organics goes the extra mile. Each year the company donates thousands of pounds of perishable food to local shelters and soup kitchens. In fact, they donate about 55,000 pounds of organic produce to organizations like Food for Free each year.
Boston Organics cuts down food waste by composting and recycling whenever possible during their operations. For deliveries to homes and businesses close to their warehouse, they bring the food to doorsteps on custom designed cargo bicycles--removing the need for gas-guzzling trucks whenever possible. All food is certified organic and the company makes every effort to avoid one-time use packaging materials.
