When we’re not listening to NPR or a Spotify playlist, we turn to our long list of favorite podcasts. Music, news, science, and entrepreneurship are just a few of the genres we tune into when we’re hopping into podcast mode.
NPR’s How I Built This, hosted by Guy Raz, interviews entrepreneurs and innovators such as Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger of Instagram, and Gary Erickson of Clif Bar.
Stuff You Should Know from How Stuff Works focuses on the perplexities and nuances of the world around us. How does a flea circus work? What is Ham radio? How does the census work? These are just a few of the compelling topics covered in this thought-provoking podcast.
Music fuels our process and, thanks to All Songs Considered, we’re constantly adding new tunes to our Spotify playlist from this music discovery podcast. When we have time, we also check out NPR’s Tiny Desk that features live video performances of well-known and up-and-coming artists.
On our way into the office, we’re tuning into the Nerdist hosted by Chris Hardwick. The show features Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Paul Rudd, Krysten Ritter, and many other famous people we'd like to be friends with.
