  • Community

    We recently donated Worm Power to the Garden Aerial project in Rochester and helped apply WP to the Smith neighborhood project, which provides soil remediation thru flowers and employs out of work high school grads in their community. We always provide free tours of our facilities for AP science classes in our area. All paid tour fees go to supporting the Ronald Mcdonald house of Rochester, NY.

  • Environment

    Worm Power uses the liability that is large agricultural waste and turn it into a valuable, 100% organic agricultural resource. Our organic plant food and soil amendment provides an alternative to conventional fertilizer - meaning cleaner creeks, streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. We collect 100% of the rainwater from our rooftops which handles all of our water needs at the facility.

  • Social

    We work in conjunction with Stonewood and Waters in Rush to support a local CSA program and are working to help create and support an environmental education center. The Garden Aerial Project in Rochester NY Builds gardens in abandoned lots in the inner city, which are maintained by kids from the neighborhood around the lots. . Worm Power assists with product donation for the soil fertility. 100% of the money collected from Worm Power Tours is donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester NY

  • Employees Culture

    We hold bi-weekly lunches and regular (2-3 times/week) “Campfire chats,” which involve hanging out in Adirondack chairs with the team to discuss non-work topics over fresh growlers form local microbreweries. Our team recently participated in the breaking of the Guiness world record for largest human flower at the Lilac Festival in Rochester, NY. We provide regular field trips for our employees - most recently visiting Abandon Brewery in Penn Yan to assist in planting 1000 new hop plants. Worm Power provides entry fees for the employees  local Oak Tree Road Race which supports the Genesee Conservancy for regional land preservation.
