Cuppow is an American company that grew out of a need to develop everyday products that would help us decrease our own eco-footprint; we have been committed to that ideal from the outset, and seek to achieve it along every part of our process. Our flagship Cuppow product - the original drinking lid adaptor for canning or mason jars - allows people to up-cycle an everyday item into an eco-friendly travel mug, and we bring this same intention into all of our products by designing for utility and simplicity. Our products utilize BPA and phthalate free food-grade recycled plastic as part of our ongoing commitment to divert as much needless waste as possible from the landfill.     A strong and healthy America is founded on good jobs, so we do our best to support this: we only use domestic options in our supply, manufacturing, and fulfillment. While this might increase the overall cost of business, keeping our entire process within an hour’s drive allows us to ensure quality along every step of the process - and we know that our customers take pride in purchasing a high-quality 100% American made product, the same that we take pride in making one. Furthermore we do our best to encourage customers to buy from brick & mortar stores in the hopes of encouraging vibrant Main Streets in every town, so that more of the cash you spend on our product stays locally within your community.

  • Environment

    Inherent in using canning jars as travel mugs is the goal of reducing our environmental impact through abstaining from the use of disposable paper coffee cups. We wanted to carry that intent into the product, so we committed ourselves to not producing another "throwaway" coffee lid like those found at gas stations: Cuppow is robust enough to last a lifetime of use, and is sourced from recycled stock of food-grade plastic so that our products can be "self-renewing". In line with this we also knew that we didn't want to have it made overseas and then shipped here; even if the parts could be produced more cheaply the shipping and transportation wouldn't be very eco-minded.

  • Social

    We have weekly meetings in order to keep everyone on track and "in the know" about our short and long term development, and generally these are conducted over food and drink. Otherwise we highly support flexible hours in order to encourage everyone in the organization to get out and pursue activities from biking to surfing. Our belief is that happy people are more effective in their jobs!

  • Employees Culture

    We are proud to commit 5% of profits toward supporting other like-minded organizations and domestic charities that focus on engaging people on environmental stewardship, recycling, and social awareness. Within six months of our first sale we introduced color versions of Cuppow - unique items that maintain direct partnerships with specific domestic charities, enabling our customers to personalize and customize their support for American-based giving. All of this is fueled by our strong desire to reinvest in our communities as we believe all responsible business should!
