RailsBridge is working to make tech more diverse and welcoming by teaching free programming workshops and making coding education more accessible. They organize and teach free workshops on Rails, Ruby, HTML & CSS in cities all over the world, specifically targeted at groups of people that are underrepresented in tech.

Multiple Cities
United States
  • Community

RailsBridge now hosts tech education workshops in cities all over the US (and a few beyond). The students/alumni from these RailsBridge subcommunities are building incredible things, many of which impact the very locales and communities where they learned their skills thanks to RailsBridge. Here's a full list of cities.

  • Social

RailsBridge is at the forefront of a movement to make the people building today's most innovative tools & technologies as diverse as the people who use them. While they started focused on women in tech, it certainly hasn't stopped there. They now focus on making access to tech education available to all, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, ability or class. They are helping shape a diverse future. That future is bright.

  • Employees Culture

RailsBridge always aims to have a high bus number... meaning knowledge/control/decision-making should be spread across many, not kept to a few at the "top." They have set up a non-hierarchical system with their core team and city chapter teams.
